Why Beyoncé’s “Beylloween” Tribute to Pamela Anderson Is Winning the Internet

Beyoncé brought the heat to Malibu Beach with her awesome “Beywatch” look! On Tuesday, she surprised her fans with some fun photos, paying tribute to Pamela Anderson in a series of cool Halloween costumes. Or, as Beyoncé cleverly called it, her “Beylloween” outfits.

Iconic Looks Inspired by Pamela Anderson

She wore several iconic looks that Pamela Anderson rocked back in the day. First, she dressed up in an all-black outfit from the 1996 movie Barb Wire, complete with a platinum blonde wig. Then, she recreated the furry pink hat look that Pamela wore to the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. Of course, Beyoncé had to include the famous red Baywatch swimsuit, but with a twist: hers read “Beywatch” in yellow letters!

Beyoncé even posted a video of herself singing and dancing to her song “Bodyguard” from her newest album, Cowboy Carter. The video was not just about having fun, though. She took a moment to remind everyone to vote, holding up a flag that said “VOTE!” — a great Election Day message.

Pamela Anderson, the original Baywatch star, loved the tribute. She wrote “LOVE” in the comments on Beyoncé’s Instagram post and even posted a picture on her own Instagram Stories, calling back to her Barb Wire movie line.

Beyoncé released the “Bodyguard” music video just in time for Election Day, using it to celebrate both Halloween and the importance of voting. Last month, she officially supported Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race and even allowed Harris to use her song “Freedom” at campaign events.

Pamela Anderson’s Reaction

Fans were also excited to see Beyoncé recreate Pamela’s other legendary looks, like her leather corset outfit from the Barb Wire movie premiere and the feathered pink hat from the VMAs. This hat, designed by Ivy Supersonic, has a cool story too. Pamela asked for it after seeing the designer’s work in a Mötley Crüe music video!

Beyoncé’s photos and video were full of fun surprises for her fans. One Easter egg was a play on the Video Music Awards, calling it the “No Visual Awards” since her fans have been waiting for more music videos from her latest albums.
